Date night: APPROVED.
Chicago, don't be mad at me… but I think I found some GOOD food in Minnesota.
And the place that finally got my attention?
Centro in Highland Park.
Yes, BABY. We went for date night, and I was not expecting to leave thinking, “Okay Minnesota… I see you now.” 😂
As someone who has been missing Chicago food, I’ve been on a mission to find those spots in Minnesota that make me stop comparing everything to home.
And Centro? You have my attention.
Date Night at Centro
We decided to check out Centro for date night, and it turned out to be exactly the kind of place I love discovering...good food, a fun atmosphere, and the kind of meal that makes you immediately start thinking about what you're going to order the next time you come back.
And yes… the food was GOOD.
Like…
“Wait a minute… Minnesota might actually have something going on over here.”

Chicago Girl Approved?
Listen… nobody is replacing Chicago.
But I'm happy to say I've discovered another Minnesota spot that makes me excited to go out and eat.
